step 10: this is the very last step all you need to do is cut out 2 long triangles and hot glue them  in the gaps that look like a triangles. done you have created your very own mount Olympus.

step 9: to complete the roof you will need cardboard sheets that have wrinkles on them. get 3 of those wrinkly cardboard strips and get a long strip of cardboard and hot glue them on the strip  for support. after that you will need help for this you will need to tape this to the roof then hot glue gun it.

step 7: Get your fluffy, white cotton balls then hot glue them onto the board but be care full they might tear off easily.

step 6: You will need to paint your old crusty columns a brown earth colour to make them look old.

Step 5: I used some small sticks and other materials to make some fire and trellis and other decorations.

Making the water fountain

There were 12 Olympian gods in the greek Pantheon at Mt. Olympus. They are Zeus, Hera, Posiedon, Demeter, Athena, Hestia, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Aphrodite, Hephaestus and Hades. I imagine that the Pantheon would have had a water fountain which I designed as part of my original drawing.

Step 3: To make the water fountain I began with some polished stones and attached them to the board with the hot glue gun. I then attached another cardboard roll which I had painted blue to look like water. I used some strips of cellophane and glued them inside of the roll to look like a bubbling fountain. I trimmed the cellophane and then added some glitter glue inside the stones to make it look more realistic.

Among the Greek gods were the Olympians, the Olympians resided on Mount Olympus under the eye of Zeus. They lived in a greek Pantheon which is what I am recreating.

Step 2: I used some cardboard rolls to make columns. First I stuck them together with masking tape to get the correct height. I mixed together some pva glue and water which I used to stick on some tissue paper and give the columns a stone or aged look.

In the beginning..

Step 1: I started with a piece of mdf board approximately 30 cm x 40 cm. I basecoated the board to look like the sky.
